Call daddy, ... mommy !

Where did she learn that? How does a 14 months old knows how to do this??

Darling daughter has been doing this since last week. She would call mommy when I asked her to call daddy! And vice versa! Yes... I know she is doing it on purpose... she has this cheeky smile and look on her face when she does that. Sometimes she would say 'pak-cik' when I asked her to call daddy. Pak-cik is her newly accquired 'word' and she's so excited about it. She would say it half way sucking milk from my breast; say it first thing she woke up in the morning or in the middle of the night... but won't say it when she meets the pakcik downstairs ...

Done... Put!

Whenever I am breastfeeding darling at home, I will breastfeed her on one breast while express milk with a breastpump on the other breast. Lately, my darling has been kinda impatient... She does not suck as long as she used to. So she would normally 'Done' sucking before I'm 'Done' pumping... Once she has satisfy her thirst or hunger, she would pull my shirt to cover my breast and say 'Done', then push my breastpump and point at the table and say 'Put' ! So adorably authoritative !! Ha ha...

Best Friend's Wedding

Congrats to the lovely lovely couple... I am truly happy for the bride as I honestly think she has chosen a wonderful wonderful husband.

Fantastic wedding reception too! One of the most extravagant wedding I have attended so far... especially like the pink and baby blue theme with Precious Moments backdrop for the stage and custom made chocolate as wedding favors. Lovely!

The bride peeping anxiously through the window when the groom arrives.
Wish the couple happily ever after!

Unlucky things happened to my car

Coincidence or what? I have had several misfortune happened to my car in a week!

Firstly, I lost my car key while in office? Don't ask me how. The only possibility was I left the key in the plastic bag which carried my lunch and I threw it away along with my lunch wrapper...

Secondly, I scratched my car by driving too near to the wall of a parking entrance! Sigh... I've been into that parking soooooo many times, I just don't know how this can happen... I'm normally quite a good driver, this has never happen to me before, I swear...

Thirdly, I knocked the bottom of my car (not sure what it is called) by going too fast on the carpark ramp! I hardly park at that level of the carpark at office; but that day the parking was just so full I had no choice...

I am just too afraid that more bad things will happen to my car that I even cancelled the idea of driving out for lunch today :(

TimeSquare Shopping

I have found myself a new shopping haven... TimeSquare ! Surprise? Me too!

My usual shopping place were MidValley, 1U, KLCC and the such... until a colleague introduce a Taiwanese shoe shop in TimeSquare to me.

When I first went into TimeSquare, it reminded me of Sungei Wang... packed with so many little shops selling fashion items for the young and naive. I was amazed with the number of shoe shops in there... I bet they have the most number of shoe shops in one single shopping centre!

Particularly this Taiwanese shoe shop. It carries the latest Japanese-style-Taiwanese-made shoes! I heart the refreshing choices of designs here; so un-Vincci like haha... but the prices are higher than Vincci though... heels are from RM 79.90, flats are cheaper; from 59.90 I think.

Here are my little collection of Taiwanese shoes after 2 shopping trips there:

I don't shop for quality clothing here (they do have quality stores like Aldo, MNG, Metrojaya etc there), I go for the knick-knacks and basic stuff that are sooooooooooo cheap. Take a look at what I've 'sapu' so far:

Belts: RM 7.90 - RM 10

Earrings: RM 1.50 - RM 9.90

Dinner bag: RM 27.90

Tank with breast padding: RM 8.90

Amazing right !!??

The most enjoyable part is that you can buy everything that you like; perhaps one in each colour without thinking much; everything are so affordable.

Pai Pai Si Fu

Since darling daughter has been having unrestful sleeps at night, crying and all... mom has suggested that she may have some 'encounter' with something from 'other world' ! Soooo... we went to pai pai the si fu again... this time we brought darling daughter along instead of just bringing a piece of clothing that she has worn.

The place was a wooden temple in a squarter area in Jalan Ipoh; highly recommended and trusted by mom and yi ma (mom's sister). We were lucky that the si fu was kind enough to 'serve' the kids and babies first so we didn't have to wait long.

There were 2 other kids before my daughter's turn, both were sick and not well but were very obedient and quiet; just let their moms 'manouver' them as instructed by si fu so he can 'stamp' the red mark on their palms, chest and back.

Darling was the drama queen la... she was sweating like a horse while waiting in line... literally soaking wet... then she cried so loud when the si fu wanted to stamp her chest and back... aiyoyo... but luckily it was a quick process. Then we given some 'fu' to burn and put into my daughter's drink, one to put on her chest to sleep for 3 nights and another 'peng onn fu' for her to carry with her to ensure her 'safety'.

I would say it has been 'effective' ! She has not been crying and refusing to sleep at night :) woohoo... but si fu said she has to stay-in for awhile at least until Ching Ming month is over ... She we are all under 'house-arrest' now... :(

I know this may sound ridiculous and out of this world, but as a parent, I have to do whatever makes my kid well and healthy.

Cry Baby

Darling daughter has been refusing to sleep for the past 2 nights. 1st night, she cried when we go into the bedroom; wanting to go out to play somemore. But luckily managed to get her to sleep after awhile more of playing and she slept through the night like normal.

But strangely for last night, again she cried when bedtime comes. We did the same thing of letting her play awhile more then managed to get her to sleep; BUT she woke in the middle of the night crying so badly and signing she wanted to go outside of the room. I carried her, pasified her and managed to get her to sleep again, but once I step inside the bedroom, she started crying again!!

Sigh... I ended up have to sleep with her in the 2nd room... and no more cry!
STRANGE, STRANGE, STRANGE...
